Bullseye is a sweetheart. His coloring is Buckskin, much like our Buttercup. He loves hay and very small cuts of carrot sticks.
Woody
Woody is the youngest horse we have and the newest addition to the Buckaroo Barn herd! His favorite treat is Neigh Nibblers from Tractor Supply. He is descended from Peppy San Badger, who is actually quite famous!
Daisy and JenJen
Daisy was born here to her Mama, JenJen. They are miniature Jerusalem donkeys and they will steal your lunch if you aren't careful! We love our donkeys and they brighten everyone's day.
Buttercup
Buttercup is one tough cookie. He is a buttermilk buckskin and he loves apples and carrots, but only takes small bites.
Cassie
Cassie is our Barn cat. She hangs around chasing mice and will rub on your legs if you hang around long enough. She enjoys pets but not being picked up.
Ranger
Ranger is the shortest of the Buckaroo horses. He looks a lot like Red, but he's much smaller. He doesn't like many treats, but we recently discovered he likes watermelon!
Big Tiny
Big Tiny is the Buckaroo Barn mascot. His tiny legs are the cutest thing we have ever seen. Our patients love to pet him and give him treats after therapy. His favorite treats are apples.
Red
Red is our tallest horse. He drinks lots of water and works very hard for treats and pets from our little Buckaroos. He likes to aggravate the other horses from time to time. His favorite snacks are apples and carrots.
IN MEMORIAM: Traveler
On June 4, 2020 the Buckaroo Barn lost one of its greatest assets. Traveler went to the big pasture in the sky and earned his wings after 28 years of service on this Earth. In the rodeo ring, he was the fiercest competitor. At the Buckaroo Barn, he was the gentlest and most reliable horse who carried many children on their journey to strength and wellness. And in life he was the most loving and wise companion anyone could ask for. When he galloped the earth shook and if you knew him, he definitely left his hoof prints on your heart. He is and will always be greatly missed. Job 39:19-22 Do you give the horse its strength or clothe its neck with a flowing mane? Do you make it leap like a locust, striking terror with its proud snorting? It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength, and charges into the fray. It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing;
